We follow a story of a little boy who goes around the house excitedly to do chores and collects his 'salary'. His main objective at the end of it all is to treat himself to a Sundae Cone. This commercial is to highlight McDonalds Value Meals.
In Indonesia, there is a shortage of Rp100 and Rp200 coins. Businesses have trouble providing these coins for change and gives out candy as a substitute. This practice upsets people. Small Currency was created by turning the coins into notes of the same value which could be used in McDonald's.
During the month of Ramadhan, all food outlets and restaurants would always cover their windows to not tempt passer bys. In this campaign, McDonald's covered and wrapped ‘everything’ during the fasting hours and unwrapped it all when it was time to break fast.
'Champions of Play'
Children are too hooked to their tv shows and their video games. To help mothers get their children to start playing outside, McDonald’s started the Red Ball campaign. With every Happy Meal set, people could buy the Red Ball. Each ball has a unique code which would entitle mothers to participate in a unique facebook competition.
